Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Siri AI Client Platforms Quality Engineering team. We are a fast-paced, and deeply collaborative team that values the tight relationship between Quality engineering, Product engineering, and program management. Responsibilities:

Own End-to-End Quality - Define, drive, and maintain the overall quality strategy for the VisionOS platform, from early development through release.

Build Automation Frameworks- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and dependable automation solutions to accelerate testing and evaluation processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product, Design, and International teams to ensure new features meet the highest quality bar before release.

Test Strategy & Planning - Lead test planning, risk analysis, and quality reviews across multiple concurrent feature work streams.

Metrics & Reporting - Define quality KPIs, track trends, and communicate quality health to stakeholders and leadership.

Continuous Improvement - Identify gaps in processes and tooling, and champion improvements that increase efficiency and reliability across the team.

Mentorship - Provide guidance and direction to other quality engineers on the team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with spatial computing, AR/VR, or platform-level quality engineering.

Experience building tooling solutions with Claude tools.

Strong passion for quality assurance in software, including developing, extending and maintaining test plans, methodologies.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across various facets of the organization as well as understand technical and interdisciplinary dependencies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of software quality engineering experience, with at least 2 years in quality lead or tech lead role.

Strong hands-on experience building and scaling test automation frameworks.

Proven ability to work independently and take ownership with minimal direction.

Experience partnering with Product and Design teams in an agile/iterative development environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.

Demonstrated success in collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, machine learning, and data science teams to solve complex challenges.

Proficiency with software revision control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins).

Highly organized with strong planning skills to estimate, update, and communicate progress.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
