Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled software developer to lead the development, maintenance, and expansion of our tools that support Health software development. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a dedicated team where your work can have a profound impact on millions of lives.","responsibilities":"Develop tools to assist in triage, bug analysis, identifying patterns in build breaks, preventing regressions, and aiding engineering in pinpointing the root causes of regressions

Maintain and enhance existing tools used to support the development and integration of Health Software

Leverage AI to improve daily workflows and improve pre-existing tooling

Excellent communication skills as high level of interaction with the engineering teams, management, other organizations within Apple are a regular occurrence

Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge

Proven track record of being proactive, self-motivated, diligent, and well organized

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Apple tooling and development practices

Experience leveraging AI to enhance existing tools and daily productivity

Familiarity with wellness or medical concepts

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience

Strong programming skills in Python, Swift, and Bash with at least 5 years of experience

Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins

Experience with Git and codebase management

Ability to investigate, debug and triage difficult problems both independently and cooperatively

Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
