Sr. Product Manager, App Store Experience

We're seeking a hardworking, experienced and driven Sr. Product Manager who will own the end-to-end discovery experience across the App Store. You will focus on building intuitive, engaging, and personalized experiences that help users find the best apps while driving meaningful engagement and growth. Ideal candidates bring deep consumer product experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to turn insights into scalable, user-facing solutions.

Description

Define, deliver, market, and measure consumer-focused discovery experiences on the App Store across all our platforms - iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS.

Partner closely with design, engineering, editorial, and business teams to define features, optimize surfaces, and scale growth strategies. From opportunity identification to outcome definition, you'll lead with a customer-centric mindset and deliver features that improve how apps are surfaced, recommended, and communicated across the App Store.

Define and continuously improve the App Store discovery experience across browse and search tabs, focusing on personalization, simplicity, performance, and customer delight, and driven by a hypothesis-led approach using A/B testing, user research, and behavioral data to iterate and optimize outcomes.

Use customer feedback, user research, competitive analysis, and product metrics to identify key opportunities and guide product prioritization.

Implement the product vision and strategy, including leading the feature definition process, prioritizing features, and shaping how they are introduced to the public across communication channels.

Collaborate with different cross-functional teams to form policies and practices that uphold privacy, trust, safety, and AI principles to deliver a premium user experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Expert storytelling and Keynote presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate both big picture vision and detailed product specs.

Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, handles decisions with ease, and has the ability to navigate ambiguity.

Experience working closely and collaboratively with both design and engineering partners.

Strong analytical skills and ability to identify key opportunities and measure impact to drive improved user experiences.

Proven track record of collaborating with machine learning experts to define and assess critical metrics.

Extraordinary oral and written communication skills; ability to become fluent in technical concepts and explain to executives and non-technical partners.

BA/BS in Computer Science/other similar technical degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

Minimum Qualifications

12+ years of experience in customer-facing UX, including at least 5+ years in product management and managing complex software projects with multiple collaborators and organizations.

Strong track record delivering delightful, intuitive digital consumer products at scale, ideally with complex content discovery and search components.
