Apple's Applications Services team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. Our team runs the continuous integration for about a third of Apple's applications. We are passionate about continuously improving the way we enable the software development lifecycle and we're looking for a like-minded individuals like you who wants to continuously automate and improve their environment.
You will interact with many other group's internal team to lead and deliver best-in-class products in an exciting fast-paced environment.
Description
-Configure, maintain and monitor a fleet of physical / virtual machines running our CI environment
-Continuously develop and improve our CI pipeline
-Collaborate across teams to improve integration & release process
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Apple development environment such as Xcode, Swift, Cocoa
Experience with Mac OS administration
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate
Comfortable and adaptable in a high-paced environment
Detail-oriented, analytical, methodical AND creative thinker committed to driving quality forward
Self-motived, passionate about DevOps, enjoys a steep learning curve
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Software Development
2+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
Proficient in Golang, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration as Code
Working experience with the SDLC, including Continuous Integration and Agile development practices
Working experience with Infrastructure as Code systems like Pulumi, and Terraform
Working experience with Configuration as Code languages like Pkl, Jsonnet, and YAML
Working experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Grafana, and GitOps
Experience developing Microservices and REST APIs
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject area, or we may consider an equivalent industry experience
