The iWork Numbers QA team is looking for a software QA engineer to work on the next generation of Desktop, Mobile and Web application/services. This position requires an ambitious individual with strong problem solving skills who can give in a diverse team environment.
Description
You will be responsible for testing, isolating issues, writing bug reports, and verifying resolutions for our creativity apps on all platforms. You will ensure the successful delivery of a quality product by performing ad-hoc and structured tests every single day. This role requires balancing a wide variety of deliverables that will rely on your talent for managing priorities and communicating progress and risks effectively and systematically. Your ongoing curiosity and dedication to self-education in new technologies as well as new testing techniques is what will set you apart. You will be working closely with other team members to help coordinate multi-functional test efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with spreadsheet apps, such as Numbers/Excel/Google Spreadsheets, is a plus
Background in finance, accounting, or data analysis is a plus
1+ years experience automating in Swift and/or Python
2+ years experience with automation in general
Minimum Qualifications
Strong hands on experience with QA methodologies, or prior QA experience
Confirmed bug detection and bug isolation skills
Outstanding communication skills, for collaborating across many participating teams.
Analytical, disciplined and creative problem solver committed to driving quality forward
Ability to adapt in a high-paced and informal environment
Act as a strong advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience
