The AppleCare Sales & Service, Platform Services team at Apple is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Solution Architect. The ideal candidate is an energetic professional with outstanding communication skills, a passion for innovation, and the ability to challenge conventional thinking.

Description

Our team is responsible for building and managing global, business-critical applications within AppleCare Sales & Service space. Our enterprise solutions and services are leveraged across a wide spectrum of consumers, including Apple Service Providers, Carriers, Self-Servicing Customers, Repair Centers, Mac Depots, and all Apple Retail stores' Genius Bars. These applications are designed to deliver a world-class sales and service experience to our customers.

In this role, you will employ innovative techniques, working collaboratively with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders during full lifecycle development process. Serve as the AppleCare Sales and Service domain champion, leading the design and architectural development of innovative Repair and AppleCare solutions that enhance the end-to-end experience for customers across diverse sales and service channels.

","responsibilities":"Lead brainstorming sessions to gather requirements and perform high level systems impact analysis for new business initiatives

Perform Requirement/ Functional Detailed analysis to deliver End-to-End Solutions in collaboration with multiple business, engineering and cross functional teams

Ensure proper requirement traceability and delivery during development and Integration Testing

Provide solution hand-off and training for the new features to Operations and Production Support teams

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.

Ability to juggle and complete multiple tasks

Excellent leadership and influencing skills

Proficient at managing multiple global efforts simultaneously

Able to fit in well with a team, understand capabilities and priorities

Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Engineering/ Technical background preferred

Experience working with vendors and contractors

Minimum Qualifications

5 years experience in business process definition, requirement definition, solution architecture

5 years business analysis experience working with large scale enterprise solutions

5 years experience in software development methodologies (including agile and traditional waterfall)

5 years experience in working in a cross functional time-zone distributed team environment

5 years experience in Java, SOA, J2EE, Object Oriented Programming and Oracle

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
