Software Engineer - Mail Experience

We're looking for a passionate software engineer to help us shape the future direction of Mail on iOS, macOS and visionOS.

Description

In this role, you'll help us develop new, innovative Mail features while taking existing features like Mail Categorization, Summarization, Writing Tools and more to the next level. You'll be involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, prototyping, coding, debugging, shipping, and addressing customer feedback. You will collaborate with teams across Apple, including framework teams like UIKit and AppKit as well as Apple's Human Interface group. Our ideal candidate is imaginative and self-motivated, and cares deeply about craftsmanship and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

You are enthusiastic about user experience and design.

You have experience leading projects and working cross-functionally.

Minimum Qualifications

You have strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

You are self-directed and can solve problems independently.

You have strong object-oriented programming skills in Swift, SwiftUI or Objective-C.

You have experience working on user interfaces and adopting UI frameworks.","internalDetails":null

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
