Software Engineer iOS - Music Creation Apps

The Cupertino engineering team works on GarageBand, Logic Remote, Logic, MainStage, and Voice Memos. We are a small international team with a presence in Cupertino, CA, Germany, Scotland, and Culver City, CA. Your position will be at Apple headquarters in Cupertino, or Culver City, CA.
Description
Our team practices fast-paced development that relies on close collaboration between engineering, QA, and product design This position requires a skilled and creative engineer with strong technical and communication abilities. The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a firm understanding of modern iOS development practices.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities will include developing new features for iOS and macOS applications, contributing to core frameworks that power our music and audio technologies, and supporting existing app features.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related fields is required.
- 3+years building and shipping iOS products
- 3+years Swift or Objective-C
- Experience with Apples development languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Strong programming skills with Objective-C and/or Swift
- Experience developing and shipping for iOS and macOS
- Strong knowledge of Xcode and related developer tools
- Music, audio production skills, understanding musical concepts
- Playing an instrument is a big plus
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
