You are comfortable navigating ambiguity in early-stage feature development and can proactively define paths forward. You build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners and are dedicated to a culture of continuous improvement for yourself, your team, and our products.","responsibilities":"In this role, you will architect and implement health features across iOS, watchOS, and macOS, guiding them from initial concept to shipping product. This involves developing and implementing sensor fusion algorithms using sensors such as accelerometers, gyroscopes, heart rate, and others to power new health & wellbeing experiences. A critical part of your work will be collecting high-quality data for development, and later, validating and optimizing algorithm performance on-device to meet strict power, memory, and privacy requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex software concepts to health, research, and clinical professionals
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Mobile app development experience (iOS, watchOS, SwiftUI)
Background in digital signal processing (DSP) and time-series analysis, particularly for biometric or inertial sensor data.
Relevant experience within health domains (including work with SaMD or regulatory products)
Proficiency with Python data analysis libraries (matplotlib, pandas, numpy)
Experience with machine learning frameworks and algorithm implementation
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields
Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in one of C++, Objective-C or Swift languages
Solid understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and power-efficient programming
