AMT's Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and API's for third party developers to enrich our platforms. Description

We are looking for a highly motivated audio enthusiastic and experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance audio APIs using Swift for all of Apple's platforms. This role combines deep audio engineering expertise with modern Swift development practices to create robust, efficient, well-architected and developer-focused audio solutions. This work involves close collaboration within Audio and with other teams like Media and Swift teams at Apple. Collaborate cross-functionally and drive the modernization of audio APIs to adhere to Swift features and guidelines.

Design, develop and enhance the underlying audio frameworks and technologies.

Engage in API reviews, write comprehensive documentation and sample code.

Contribute to enhancing testing, code quality and code coverage.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of audio domain.

Minimum Qualifications

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

Strong programing skills (preferably in Swift and C/C++).

Solid understanding of software architecture and API design.

Solid understanding of audio programming, object-oriented methodologies, and multi-threaded programming.
