Description

APPLE INC has the following available in San Diego, California. Perform SoC Characterization, including test enablement, data collection, parametric data analysis and fault isolation to resolve root cause of the issues. Partner with design, process and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions on both new and mature products and technologies. Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications based upon design intent and characterization result. Perform correlation between ATE and different hardware setups (Automatic Test Equipment). Perform statistical data analysis on mass data set to setup test limits. Complete yield and correlation analysis for all levels of test insertions. Support test time reduction related characterization activities. Coordinate test related activities and reviews with both internal and external groups. Job requires 10% international and domestic travel. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $176,134 - $245,800/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:

Conducting IP Characterization including test enablement, debug, data collection & parametric analysis across corners, voltage and temperature to validate design specifications.

Using ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) to aid in debug & enablement of tests to be used in high volume production testing & characterization test programs.

Correlating ATE measurements against bench tests to establish necessary guard bands for production screening.

Performing statistical data analysis to identify trends in parametric data variation in high volume production & set screening limits to meet quality & yield metrics.

Working on yield debug to root-cause fails in production and/or characterization and implementing corrective actions.

Performing Test Time Reduction across all production insertions to meet final test time metrics without sacrificing quality or yield goals.

Using JMP for statistical data analysis on large sets of production data.
