Services UI Localization - AI Workflow Specialist

Today Cupertino, CA

The people at Apple don't just create products - they build things that change how industries work. The Services UI Localization team is part of that. We deliver localization across App Store, Apple Music, TV App, Fitness+, Apple News, iCloud, Maps, Enterprise, Identity Management Services, and many more products - 50+ languages, 150+ markets, every Apple platform - and we're actively transforming how that work gets done through AI.

This role sits inside the UI Localization PM team, where PMs are already experimenting and building automation solutions. We're looking for someone with deeper expertise who can raise the collective bar - serving as the team's center of gravity on AI and agentic workflows, helping teammates go further, and bringing rigor to how we build and prioritize together. This is a collaborative role as much as a technical one.

Description

Our UI Loc PMs are embedded in Apple's feature development lifecycle - attending kickoffs for new services and features, scoping localization work, managing tasks through translation and review, and producing planning and reporting deliverables at scale. You'll work directly with them to identify where automation can eliminate or reduce manual work, build those solutions, and bring them into how the team actually operates. You'll also proactively spot opportunities the team hasn't seen yet and push thinking forward.

Your work will be shaped in close partnership with our Strategy, AI/ML, and tooling organizations - what you build connects to a broader platform rather than working in silos. Your primary output is the agents, automations, and process improvements that make project management and delivery faster, smarter, and more scalable.

Responsibilities:

Build and Deploy - Design and build AI agents, automated workflows, and integrations that reduce manual work for Localization PMs - covering status tracking, intake coordination, data processing, project scaffolding, handoff automation, and more

Develop workflow orchestration systems with task routing, contextual decision-making, escalation handling, and automated reporting

Establish robust evaluation frameworks to continuously monitor AI model performance, analyzing metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement, reduce bias, and ensure high-quality outputs

Apply GenAI techniques including RAG, prompt engineering, and tool-use agents; evaluate and integrate LLMs suited to localization and PM workflows

Write clean, documented, maintainable code; build for adoption, reliability, and scale

Test against real operational conditions; measure impact and iterate

Prioritize and Govern - Maintain a living portfolio of automation and process improvement opportunities - owning intake, prioritization, and sequencing

Define success metrics before work begins; track and report impact after deployment; use data to guide what gets built next

Establish lightweight governance to prevent duplication, surface blockers early, and ensure AI solutions operate within established security, confidentiality, and quality frameworks

Partner, Advise, and Integrate - Work closely with Localization PMs to understand workflows, pain points, and priorities; translate those into concrete automation opportunities

Actively support teammates who are building their own solutions - advising on methodology, tooling choices, and quality of execution; connecting efforts so the team builds cohesively

Support PMs in adopting new tools into their day-to-day work

Collaborate with Strategy, AI/ML, and engineering teams to align with broader platform standards and shared infrastructure

Represent the team in cross-functional conversations with AI leads and partners as needed - bringing strong executive presence, sharp storytelling, and the ability to demo and narrate the team's work in ways that build trust and visibility at every level
