Our team is looking for a Data Scientist to help support the product and business teams with data-driven solutions for insights on content performance, strategy, and customer experience in our apps. As a key member of our diverse and multi-faceted organization, we have the rare and exciting opportunity to work with datasets of unique magnitude, richness, and dedication to customer privacy that will frequently require innovative approaches. We work collaboratively with partners across Business, Marketing, Product, Content, and Engineering daily to deliver material customer and business value.
Description
Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across product, business, and creative teams focused on Apple Services.
Inform our understanding of how users discover and engage with content and subscription offerings.
Define engineering and business intelligence requirements for new datasets and data products to enable product feature and content launches.
Collaborate with the broader data science organization on cross-functional initiatives to ensure a comprehensive view of our products and services.
Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve the product experience.

Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize our products and services.
Partner with business stakeholders to shape and guide roadmaps, influence priorities, and support product strategy with data.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with advance causal inference methods.
Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Spark.
Experience in using AI to augment data science workflows.
Experience in media or entertainment industry.
Passion for film, television, and/or music domains.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in extracting insights from large datasets using programming languages such as Python and SQL.
Skilled in designing and executing experimentation strategies, including test definition and results measurement.
Skilled in applying statistical methods to business problems including classification, segmentation, and forecasting.
Experienced in applying data science techniques to solve ambiguous, real-world problems and clearly communicate insights to stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technial and non-technical teams.
