With passion, dedication, and a desire to tackle complex challenges, you will play a crucial role in providing the legal support needed for Apple to continue building cutting-edge technologies.

Description

You will join a team of attorneys in the Product & Regulatory Legal Group who advise engineering and operations teams on a wide variety of matters, including technology development, intellectual property licenses, strategic partnerships, and supplier relationships. You will collaborate with other legal groups and cross-functional business teams to strategize, draft, and negotiate technology licenses, development agreements, supply and manufacturing agreements, and other commercial contracts-with a focus on nascent technologies and innovative solutions. You will also advise Apple management on risk allocation and mitigation, business strategies, and policies, particularly as they relate to the unique challenges and opportunities presented by emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience drafting and negotiating intellectual property, manufacturing, and supply agreements

Experience with product counseling, consumer law, and product regulatory issues

Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise and build relationships with executive management, teammates, and cross-functional partners

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements

JD or equivalent and admission to at least one state bar

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $230,500 and $346,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
