The Find My team is looking for an experienced software engineer who is equally passionate about software development and software quality. This unique opportunity requires a balanced approach to delivering complex engineering projects with a team of highly skilled software engineers.

As the engineer, your responsibilities will include working closely with multi-functional teams, act as the technical point of contact, take ownership of problems and deliverables, lead engineering efforts, and organize engineering tasks to deliver the next generation of Find My features. Creative thinking, strong problem solving, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other multi-functional teams in a dynamic setting are meaningful attributes which will serve you well in this role.

Assist with various team and system support needs

Preferred Qualifications

Strong understanding of common data structures and basic graph algorithms

Hands on experience writing strong object-oriented code including creating frameworks, modular and testable software

Experience in C, C++

Working knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols (e.g.. PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, CA)

Experience in the AI/ML domain

Minimum Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, plus 8+ years equivalent work experience will be considered.

Ability to take ownership, identify requirements, prioritise and make progress in an environment with limited given input.

Very strong in leading others and hands-on, in programming, system design and problem solving

Validated programming experience is required, 8+ years

Strong Swift expertise - including but not limited to: Multithreading, non-blocking IO

Strong understanding of QA methodologies including triaging, debugging, automating, testing

Experience driving release decisions, scoping work, and driving bug convergence

Experience in cross team collaboration and communication across multiple timezones
