Semiconductor Process Engineer
We are looking for a Semiconductor Process Engineer to join our team.
Description
This is a full-time position developing and maintaining semiconductor processes (etch, thin films, lithography, bonding, CMP) in a semiconductor fabrication facility.","responsibilities":"Recipe development, process controls, experiment design/execution, and data analysis to optimize device performance and yield
Maintain cleanroom operations, collaborates with technicians & equipment engineers to improve uptime and performance
Works across integration teams for process handoffs
Support foundry transfers
Preferred Qualifications
MS with 5+ years or PhD with 3+ years in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or related field
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of semiconductor process equipment such as photolithography, dry and wet etch, thin film deposition, bonding, dicing and CMP
Experience with failure analysis characterization techniques like SEM, XRD etc
Experience with data analysis tools and principles of statistically designed experiments (JMP, Matlab, Python etc)
Experience in optoelectronics, III-V semiconductor devices and materials
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
Experience with Cleanroom fab environment & Protocols
Experience in Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology
Ability to generate, analyze and interpret data

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
