Semiconductor Development Manager of Infrastructure and Process Transfer

Description
This is a full-time on-site role to lead operations and facilities while driving organizational initiatives for safety and operational for a semiconductor pilot line and the transfer of this technology to a foundry partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of next generation product development and prototyping device builds while driving an industry leading safety culture. The person will ensure that experiments are implemented according to plan and that data are accurately collected and analyzed. The person will manage managers leading operations and facilities and be responsible for identifying opportunities that safely accelerate the rate of technology development and build elements of technology transfer packages that lead to strong technology and procedural starting points for foundry partners.","responsibilities":"Supervise operations team in the process development fabrication facility
Lead facilities teams on initiatives that drive development output and that demonstrate that meet or exceed world leading safety and environmental sustainability standards
Redefine KPIs for pilot line productivity that target learning rate as a primary metric
Work with the director of semiconductor engineering, process engineering, integration, and other functions to prioritize various inputs to facilities and operations
Work with GSM, EPM and others to define rigorous specifications and procedures for moving materials in and out of Apple facilities and foundry/supply chain partners to accelerate quality systems
Serve as Chief of Staff to the Director of Semiconductor Engineering
Work with integration, device, process engineering and matrixed partners to build quality system and design for manufacturability into our technology development approach to accelerate foundry adoption of Apple technology
Preferred Qualifications
M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering
5+ years of senior management experience in a clean room based R&D / pilot production environment
Excellent critical analysis, statistical analysis, and reasoning skills
Ability to work independently and in teams
Experience with quality management systems
Demonstrated success working at the intersection of highly matrixed teams on technology commercialization
Minimum Qualifications
B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or related fields
10+ years hands on semiconductor experience
5+ years of working in clean room facility
Experience in identifying and resolving technology and schedule gaps with Apple foundry partners

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,100 and $393,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
