The Apple Store Online (ASO) is seeking a quality professional to join the ASO Operations team managing quality validation work streams for Apple Store Online, Apple Store App and partner platforms. Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of information and experience presented to Apple's customers while delivering on the ever-increasing velocity of changes as the Retail digital platform expands into new geographies, languages, and devices. You will be part of a global team, driving high quality results while meeting ambitious deadlines. As a Quality Project Manager with ASO Operations, you will direct and drive medium to large-sized, testing cycles and have a direct impact on one of the world's largest e-commerce sites.","responsibilities":"Developing deep subject matter expertise of E2E customer journeys, business processes, and impacted systems
Working with business and technical partners to understand the solutions we are building, and using this knowledge to define a test strategy that thoroughly evaluates customer journey across a range of use cases.
Operating as a lead of an ASO functional track often reporting into a centralized testing function.
Managing, planning, organizing activities throughout validation planning and execution.
Leading and collaborating with multiple testings partner teams to connect the dots and stitch across them to drive success
Leading test resources required for successful execution of projects, and provide input to processes that drive continuous improvement aligned with industry best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of exposure to, and demonstrated capability of quickly understanding complex integrated systems.
Experience with AI-driven quality validation techniques and automation
Sees around corners, identifies potential areas of concern, has a sense of urgency, and can rally teams to review and mitigate risk in a program.
Demonstrates good facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Exhibits a genuine passion for innovation shown through creative strategies and continuous process improvement.
Communicates with clarity, both written and verbally.
Contributes to an inclusive environment through respecting each others' differences and having the curiosity to learn, and demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
BA/BS degree, or equivalent, preferably in a technical field
PMP or Project Manager Certifications a plus
Relevant quality certifications, including ISTQB
Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience working in a Quality role leading related projects and initiatives
Significant UAT/QC/Quality experience within an e-commerce, mobile, or retail based organization (could be user experience/web front-end, transactional back-end focused)
Quality-focused, deeply technical skills, and displays analytical and problem solving skills.
Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and demonstrated ability to establish relationships with partner teams and be seen as a trusted advisor and partner, preferably working across regions or with globally distributed teams
