The Video Applications group is looking for a build engineer to help take our products from source through the latest tools to a production product.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to join the team responsible for Video Applications.
In this role, you will participate in the creation of world-class content creation tools for consumers and professionals. You will be challenged to find creative solutions to technical problems, collaborate in a team environment, and communicate technical concepts across a broad multi-disciplinary organization. You will go beyond the industry norm and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving, think dynamically outside of standard convention, and adapt quickly to new technical environments. Security and privacy experience

Involvement in a significant modernization effort for a large code base
Understanding of Apple foundational technologies (Darwin, Foundation, AppKit, UIKit, SwiftUI)
Apple App Store submission processes
Facility with C and C++
Systems programming experience (concurrency, daemons, etc)
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years industry experience in software production.
BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.
Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Deep understanding of Apple and industry standard development tools (Xcode, Provisioning Profiles, entitlements, build scripts, and Xcode config files)
Strong problem solving and debugging skills.
AppKit / UIKit / SwiftUI experience using Swift or Objective-C.
Other programming languages (Perl, Python)
Apple development tools (Xcode)
Source control (git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, github)
Working in a large, complex build environment
