Reporting to the Sr. Manager, WW Global Freight Planning Logistics and Operations, the Worldwide Logistics Operations Program Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the Global air and ocean logistics operations strategy, performance metrics to support Finished Goods and Apple care supply chains.
This role leads end-to-end operational excellence across Air, Ocean and Ground networks driving performance, visibility, risk mitigation, and progress toward Apple's 2030 carbon neutrality commitments.
Description
Key Responsibilities--
Global Freight Strategy & Execution
Define and drive global air, ocean, multi-mode operations strategy in partnership with regional logistics and BPR teams.
Partner with regional logistics and procurement teams, to establish lead time SLA's and service levels for both Air and Ocean.
Partner with WW Supply Demand Management to establish service level for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Business as Usual (BAU) products.
Centralize "Eyes on Freight" visibility and standardize execution management across AMR, EMEIA, APAC.
Strong focus on lead-time optimization, and service performance improvements.
Monitor global market conditions and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies.

Operational Excellence & Tools
As a WW Inbound operational supply manager, you are tasked with holding suppliers accountable for on time Performance, Data Quality and impose penalty's as per contractual terms.
Develop key management systems and KPIs for both supplier account teams and executive-level performance reviews.
Work with BPR teams to build out "Portals" and move from data collection to making more sound business decision based on data automation.
Drive process improvements across ocean, air, and rail operation networks.
Present pertinent operational topics in the Weekly Business review
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Speed
Ensure logistics operational readiness for product launches.
Align cross-functional stakeholders (WW/Regional Supply Demand Management, WW/Regional Logistics team) to meet speed and service targets.
Architect capacity for NPI and contingency strategies to balance cost, capacity, and lead time.
Sustainability & Supplier Governance
Develop and implement Supplier Engagement management scorecards.
Track and drive measurable progress toward 2030 decarbonization goals.
Partner with data providers to optimize routing, emissions, and network efficiency.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Regional Logistics, Supply Demand Management, Manufacturing, and AppleCare.
Influence executive stakeholders through clear communication and data-driven recommendations.
Lead change initiatives across a complex, global organization.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA is preferred
5+ years senior program management experience in global air and ocean operations.
Strong strategic thinking and program leadership capability.
Demonstrated executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership.
Deep Industry knowledge of global air and ocean markets.
Advanced analytical capability and strong Excel/Numbers proficiency.
Proven ability to work in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Minimum Qualifications
7-10 years in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Industrial Engineering

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
