Description
We're looking for a PMO Program Manager to drive program oversight, release and information management, and change enablement. You'll sit at the intersection of people, process, and technology - and play a defining role in how AI-powered tools and practices reshape how our teams plan, communicate, and ship software.
Responsibilities:
Own and evolve core PM process documentation, templates, and integrated tools aligned with ASE Program Management priorities
Drive PMO standards adoption through targeted communications, training, and engagement programs that inspire lasting behavioral change - not just awareness
Partner with ASE Program and Engineering leads to proactively align ASE and partner schedules
Define and standardize processes for feature demos, release readiness reviews, and executive status meetings
Maintain accurate feature release calendars and milestone schedules across tools, documentation, and communications in partnership with cross-functional teams

Serve as a trusted PMO partner to Software Engineering (SWE), Product, and Platform teams - deeply understanding development cycles and constraints to ensure program planning reflects engineering reality
Build and maintain feature and bug reporting cadences to track release quality and convergence progress
Drive a PMO communication plan keeping the org current on process/tooling changes, best practices, milestones, and program priorities
Identify, evaluate, and champion AI-powered tools and workflows that improve how PMO and ASE program teams plan, document, and deliver
Translate AI capabilities into practical, accessible standards - driving guidance, experimentation, and LLM-based tool adoption across the organization
Act as a change agent for AI fluency, helping teams confidently integrate AI into daily program work
Lead structured change management for PMO-driven initiatives across a large, globally distributed org - assessing readiness, identifying adoption risks, designing interventions, and measuring impact
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - able to distill complexity for any audience
Proven ability to build trust-based relationships across all levels, including engineering and quality organizations
Skilled at influencing without authority in complex, matrixed environments
Anticipates leadership and organizational needs; course-corrects with confidence and discretion
Strong consultative problem-solver - brings structure to ambiguity and communicates guidance clearly and succinctly
Strong technical aptitude; self-directed learner who thrives on rapid experimentation with emerging tools
High professionalism; operates autonomously and handles sensitive information with integrity
PMP certification a plus
Preferred tools: Confluence, Radar, Keynote, Slack, Final Cut Pro/iMovie, Photoshop, basic HTML and AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent)
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of program management experience in cross-functional software engineering environments
Demonstrated AI fluency: understands concepts, terminology, and practical applications; proven ability to apply AI to improve program workflows and team productivity
Experienced in change management principles - stakeholder analysis, readiness assessments, adoption measurement - with a track record of driving sustainable behavioral change at scale
Experienced with knowledge management systems, bug tracking, and PM reporting tools; proven ability to drive adoption of standardized processes and data elements for scale efficiencies
Track record of building and sustaining communities within large organizations - programs, events, and feedback loops that drive shared hands-on learning and cultural adoption
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
