Program Manager, HWE Operations, Planning and Operations
We're looking for a sharp, execution-focused Program Manager to join Hardware Engineering's Operations team and take ownership of high-impact initiatives in our resource management efforts, especially focused on labor and work spaces. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly from problem to plan, and can influence outcomes without formal authority. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives at the intersection of business operations and workplace strategy, using complex datasets to inform how the organization plans for labor, space, and growth. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across functions to align business priorities with operational strategies, ensuring the organization can scale efficiently while improving how teams work and perform.","responsibilities":"Translate business demand into actionable planning decisions by partnering closely with business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Own the development and execution of integrated workplace, labor, and real estate strategies that align staffing trends, geographic priorities, and business growth.

Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, driving alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Build and own complex datasets, forecasting models, and scenario planning to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform workforce and real estate strategy.
Develop executive-level briefings and dashboards that turn business signals into clear recommendations and decision frameworks for senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of program management experience, including 2+ years in Labor Planning, Workplace Planning, or Business Intelligence.
Experience operating in engineering environments, with an understanding of technical dependencies, development lifecycles, and cross-functional execution teams, translating technical requirements into effective resourcing, workplace strategy, and operational plans for hardware programs.

Extensive expertise in analytics and data-driven strategy, with a proven track record of translating complex, multi-source datasets into actionable insights that drive high-impact business decisions.
Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools for analysis and reporting.
Master's degree, or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of program management experience, ideally in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
Proven experience driving multiple, complex programs with measurable business impact.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams and leadership.
Drives clarity in ambiguous, complex environments by rapidly synthesizing information, aligning stakeholders, and resolving conflicts to maintain momentum across cross-functional initiatives.
Strong background in analytics and data-driven problem-solving, with a history of leveraging datasets, metrics, and models to inform strategic decisions.
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $163,300 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
