Description

In this role, you will own end-to-end program management across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining the consistency and cadence our leadership and stakeholders depend on. You will partner closely with an Engineering Program Manager to ensure technical workstreams are accurately reflected in overall program status and plans, serving as the connective tissue across cross-functional teams. You will bring rigor to how programs are tracked, how risks are surfaced, and how decisions are documented, while remaining pragmatic and adaptive in how you operate. The ideal candidate brings deep program management experience, strong judgment, and the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality or clarity.

Responsibilities:

Own weekly status reporting for multiple projects and consolidated portfolio-level reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and on-time delivery to leadership and stakeholders.

Maintain and manage detailed project plans, milestone tracking, and schedule management across a concurrent portfolio; proactively identify deviations and drive corrective actions.

Build and maintain a risk register with active mitigation and contingency plans, ensuring risks and issues are visible and addressed before they become blockers.

Drive coordination across engineering, design, operations, and other cross-functional teams, ensuring dependencies are clear, handoffs are smooth, and blockers are resolved quickly.

Facilitate and maintain stakeholder alignment through structured communication, meeting facilitation, and clear documentation of decisions and action items.

Partner closely with the Engineering Program Manager to ensure technical workstreams are accurately reflected in overall program status and plans.

Support broader program management functions including meeting facilitation, agenda management, retrospectives, and process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira or Wrike, and experience owning executive-facing status reports and portfolio-level dashboards.

Solid risk management skills covering identification, documentation, and active mitigation tracking, with a proactive approach to surfacing and resolving blockers.

Experience collaborating with or alongside an Engineering Program Manager or technical program management function.

Familiarity with portfolio-level reporting frameworks and program governance structures.

Experience operating effectively in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and reporting lines.

Background in technology, internal productivity tools, or employee-facing SaaS products. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification.

Excellent stakeholder communication skills, both written and verbal.

Familiar with Gen AI tools.

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of experience in a program or project management role, with a demonstrated track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery, including multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.

3+ years of experience coordinating across peer teams such as software engineering, product management, and design.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $110,500 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
