PMU Architect
Join our team at Apple developing the always-on SoC's that are at the heart of all of Apple's major hardware products. You will be responsible for Architecting the digital IP's for Apple's system management and power conversion IC's. You will work closely with Apple's product teams and system architects.
The team creates both digital-only and mixed signal IP's and integrates them into stand alone system control IC's. The mixed signal IP's include industry leading power conversion and telemetry blocks developed in close collaboration with the analog design team.
Description
You will have the responsibilities as follows:
Architect complex digital IP's, meeting schedule, area, power, and performance targets.
Provide guidance and focus on our internal Digital IP alignment and unification
- Collaborate in developing precise design specifications for digital control blocks.

- Collaborate with project System teams, CoreOS and Platform Architecture to provide the best guidance on PMU digital IP unified architecture
- Work with DV teams to create verification plans and debug test failures.
- Work with silicon validation team in developing lab validation and qualification plans.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of experience architecting digital IP's for SoC's or mixed signal IC's.
Proven track record of delivering quality designs on schedule.
Experience with working closely with System partners, CoreOS.
Solid understanding of low power design techniques.
Minimum Qualifications
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
