Organizational Change Management Lead - Finance Transformation

The Finance Transformation team is shaping the future of Finance from modernizing our systems, implementing innovative AI solutions, and up-skilling the workforce. We are looking for an Organizational Change Management Lead who will drive the people and communications side of our transformation efforts ensuring awareness of progress and adoption of new process and technologies. You will be responsible for assessing impact, designing communications, and building training strategies that equip finance employees with skills to transition from traditional workflows to modernized, agile ways of working.

Description

The Organizational Change Management Lead is a highly strategic, hands-on individual contributor role within the Finance Transformation Program Management Office (PMO). As finance processes are rapidly streamlined through AI, automation, and advanced technologies, this role is critical to guiding our workforce through significant operational shifts. Partnering directly with multiple Finance Transformation leaders and other leads, you will own two strategic priorities: driving a comprehnesive stakeholder communication strategy and designing an organizational development program to up-skill staff.

You will serve as the bridge between complex transformation initiatives, the people executing them, and the human adoption, ensuring that all levels of the finance organization are informed, engaged, and equipped with the modern analytical and soft skills required to in a transformed finance landscape. ","responsibilities":"Strategy Development & Execution: Design, build, and independently execute the end-to-end communication strategy for the Finance Transformation program ensuring alignment with the overarching Finance Transformation goals.

Multi-Channel Execution: Deploy communications across a variety of internal channels (e.g. executive program updates, newsletters, intranet, etc.). Own and manage a communications calendar planning in advance to ensure the right content is delivered at the right time.

Internal Network Alignment: Collaborate with corporate communication teams across Apple to ensure messaging alignment and draw inspiration from existing successful internal campaigns.

Stakeholder Tailoring: Analyze stakeholders maps to create targeted messaging that resonates across various ranks, from entry level staff to executive leadership.

Feedback loops: Establish mechanisms to gauge the effectiveness of communications, measure stakeholders sentiment, and adjust tactics proactively to mitigate change resistance.

Needs assessment and role design: partner with finance leadership and transformation leads to identify skill gaps and determine how specific roles will change as a result of transformation and AI. Define the ideal skills and qualities needed by each finance group.

Future-State Curriculum Design: Architect an organizational development strategy focused on critical future-offinance skills, specifically: AI and data literacy, advanced analytics, and strong soft skills (e.g., business partnering, storytelling, influencing, and critical thinking)

Resource Leveraging: Evaluate and tap into existing organization development programs across Apple, repurposing relevant learning materials and modalities to accelerate up-skilling without reinventing the wheel.

Multi-Modal Implementation: Design and deliver varied learning modalities tailored finance staff, including but not limited to e-learning modules, hands on workshops, peer-to-peer coaching and quick reference guides.

Adoption Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training completion, user adoption, and long term capability building.

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or Transformation Program Management.

Proven track record as a senior individual contributor capable of both high-level strategy design and hands-on execution. Ability to remain flexible and pivot across activities as needed.

Experience supporting large teams, and large-scale transformations, helping team adopt new ways of working.

Demonstrated abilities to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively for a variety of audiences.

Methodologies & Frameworks: Strong practical application of established change management frameworks (e.g. Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter) and Design Thinking principles

Domain Expertise: Understanding of finance transformation, including shifts towards AI-driven processes, automated workflows, and demotcratized data ecosystems

Certification: Change Mangement certification (e.g., CCMP, Prosci), or Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP).

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Change Management, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or Transformation Program Management.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Communications, Human Resources.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,300 and $263,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
