N&V EPM- Noise and Vibration Engineering Program Manager, Acoustics
Noise and Vibration EPM responsible for driving large cross functional teams in tackling a wide variety of noise and vibration issues across all Apple product lines. This role is unique providing an opportunity to combine a deep technical engineering expertise which requires program management skills.
Description
As the Noise and Vibration EPM you will be the central voice representing the needs of not only the team but the customer expectation. You will be critical in driving complex multi-physics noise issues to closure, balancing both the technical complexities and schedule requirements. Noise and Vibration EPM work closely with their engineering partners to establish best practices, solutions and customer experience for expertise across all of Apple's product line. This role requires a significant amount of cross functional engagement from the early concept stage through mass production.
Responsibilities:
Drive day-to-day activities to meet overall project objectives/schedule from development to ramp
Drive technical discussions with both internal and cross functional partners
Prioritize across multiple programs with various levels of complexity
Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution within and between teams, focus on top level objectives and develop best course of action
Offer multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management
Oversee multiple top issues in parallel requiring exceptional organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical background in EE or ME or NVH. Masters in Engineering is a plus
Technical hands on experience with any of the following: System Dynamics, Mechanical Noise, Electrical Noise, or Fan Noise
Experience working with OEM/ODM partners
Minimum Qualifications
BSME or BSEE or equivalent
4+ years of experience in project management
Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience
Understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making
Ability to travel internationally when needed(<10%)
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $144,600 and $263,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
