Description
Join Apple's modem team to build advanced DevOps infrastructure supporting groundbreaking 5G/4G cellular firmware development. As a Modem Firmware DevOps Engineer, you'll be at the center of our embedded cellular physical layer firmware effort, working within the Advanced Technologies Group responsible for crafting and productizing powerful cellular SoCs.
You'll develop automation systems, integrate LLM capabilities into enterprise workflows, and create modern CI/CD pipelines that accelerate firmware development. This role requires expertise in both traditional DevOps practices and emerging technologies, with opportunities to explore how large language models can enhance embedded systems development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications
MS in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer engineering.
Hands-on experience with Git and modern CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Knowledge of monitoring and visualization tools with analytics capabilities.
Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Understanding of prompt engineering and LLM workflow optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
Proficiency in Python for automation, API development, and integration work.
Familiarity with developing REST APIs and microservices architectures.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) platforms.
