Description

We are seeking a Market Intelligence Lead to identify and evaluate new and emerging health offerings within the healthcare ecosystem. The ideal candidate is energized by ambiguity, navigates evolving requirements with confidence, and excels at bringing analytical rigor to complex problems, including synthesizing industry data, dynamic competitive landscapes, and emerging signals to identify high-impact opportunities.

Systems Design and Market Intelligence

• Monitor health industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics across the healthcare landscape

• Distill complex health concepts into actionable insights for leadership and offer informed perspectives on what the data means and where to focus.

• Execute targeted market research on priority healthcare sectors

Defining Needs and Possible Solutions

• Collaborate with cross-functional DRIs to translate technical, operational, business and clinical needs into evaluation criteria and opportunity areas

• Identify, triage, and evaluate external opportunities against strategic priorities and business objectives

• Prepare concise summaries and assess opportunities against critical evaluation criteria which include key metrics, strategic fit, and team

• Build and maintain proprietary opportunity tracking systems and external company databases

Stakeholder Engagement and Coordination

• Represent Apple externally: coordinate meetings with external partners, founders, and management teams; identify key milestones and drive cross-functional coordination across diverse group of internal and external executive stakeholders

• Develop briefing materials, agendas, and discussions frameworks for strategic conversations

• Document outcomes and maintain organized records of all strategic engagements and interactions

• Facilitate seamless information flow between external partners and internal cross-functional teams

This is a site-based role.

Preferred Qualifications

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously

Self-starter who works with urgency and can operate independently

Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively across diverse teams

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

7-10 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate strategy/business development, venture capital, or growth equity

Demonstrated passion for healthcare innovation and demonstrated understanding of the healthcare ecosystem (e.g., providers, payors, patients, life sciences) including stakeholder dynamics / incentive structures

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to synthesize complex information

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
