Manager of Engineering Project Managers, Core Platform

The Core OS EPM team is seeking a Core Platform EPM manager to lead a team of project managers responsible for driving pre-silicon bring-up, hardware program readiness, and silicon software enablement across all of Apple's product lines - iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, HomePod, and Apple Vision Pro. This team drives critical pre-silicon software bring-up activities, including firmware initialization, hardware validation, and component and platform integration. Additionally, this team supports critical bring-up areas across SoC Power and System management. You'll have an opportunity to partner and build strong relationships in collaboration with SWE, HWE, HWTech, Silicon Engineering Group, Platform Architecture, and other teams at Apple.

Description
As the manager of this team, you will hire, develop, coach, and inspire Core Platform EPMs, supporting the Core Platform engineering organization. Your team serves as the primary SWE EPM function during the pre-silicon phase - coordinating across hardware and software organizations to drive pre-silicon and bringup readiness for every new Apple SoC. You will also collaborate with program management leaders across SWE, HWE, HWTech, Silicon Engineering Group, and Platform Architecture to improve how Apple delivers silicon programs at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
BS or MS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience driving embedded silicon bring-up projects
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience
2+ years of managing project managers, as well as experience in managing people managers
Demonstrated ability to drive large cross-functional programs spanning software, hardware, and silicon organizations
Strong mentorship and leadership skills; proven ability to guide, develop, and inspire others
Solid analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to influence and impact key decision
Experience with leading and enhancing existing processes and engineering new processes at scale.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $176,600 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
