The AIML Data Operations team builds software systems that enable high-quality machine learning data collection and annotation at scale. Our work contributes to Apple's most strategic software and hardware initiatives like Apple Intelligence and Vision Pro.
We're seeking an experienced Manager of Engineering Program Management (EPM) to lead a team of EPMs who drive global software initiatives shaping how machine learning data is collected, labeled, and used across Apple.
Description
As the Manager of EPM, you will lead a team of 3+ EPMs and oversee software programs that enable global data operations. Your portfolio spans data collection systems, productivity applications, and data pipelines that support AI development across Apple.

Preferred Qualifications
Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and strategic thinking skills
Domain expertise in the AI/ML model development lifecycle, especially human-in-the-loop workflows
Programming and data analysis skills in Python and/or SQL for deriving program insights
PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree or experience
8+ years of technical program management experience in software development organizations
3+ years of people management experience, including leading and developing EPMs
Proven track record of defining and delivering user-centric software products from conception through launch across multiple releases
Strong background in software delivery and development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile project management methodologies
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to executives and distilling complex topics into clear narratives
Strong people management and strategic leadership skills including building high-performing teams, aligning stakeholders to a common vision, navigating ambiguity, and inspiring others

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $208,400 and $313,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
