Description
The IS&T Mergers & Acquisitions team maintains accountability for all IS&T activities globally to ensure the seamless integration of people and technology into Apple. The team is responsible for the project management methodology, documentation and templates, KPI's, executive reporting, and delivery activities for all M&A integration projects. Members work closely with leadership, business stakeholders, technical engineers, trainers, support teams, information security, and others to successfully integrate acquired organizations. The Project Manager role oversees the planning, execution, and operational transition of M&A integration projects. It orchestrates project communication, marshals resources based on needs, drives solutions to unique integration requirements, manages project timelines, and otherwise facilitates the transition of acquired companies into the Apple corporate environment. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring a strong ability to align diverse teams on a common goal. A blend of business and technical acumen coupled with project management discipline is critical to success.
Responsibilities:
Manage communication with project stakeholders, business partners, and leadership
Coordinate and track IS&T deliverables (e.g. network circuit procurement, training, e-mail migration) across concurrent projects
Lead process and technology solutioning efforts with functional and regional groups
Provide regular and accurate reporting on the status, timeline, and health of M&A integrationprojects
Maintain program documentation to reflect the most current integration processes and tools
Collaborate with business partners to identify and document technology needs
Collaborate with global teams to develop, document, and deliver plans for each project
Maintain close relationships with support functions such as Collaboration Services, DNS, NewProduct Security, and Apple Information Security
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of trends and best practices within Apple
Establish and cultivate positive relationships at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
PMP or other project management certification a plus
A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking skills
Effectively coordinates work and communication across disparate groups of individuals
Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate complex concepts to all levels of personnel (staff to executive)
Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities
Able to quickly adapt to new technical and functional concepts
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years related M&A experience
Proven track record of managing technical activities on M&A integration projects in a global environment
Clear understanding of networking, e-mail, web server, DNS, and domain technologies
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,600 and $190,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
