Litigation & Disputes Senior Finance Manager

Description
The Litigation, Antitrust & Disputes Finance team is responsible for spearheading and managing financial and related data requests stemming from matters involving Intellectual Property Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Consumer Litigation, Antitrust, among others. As a leader of the team, you will be the subject matter expert regarding financial statements, sales information, and other metrics driven data across Apple's core products, services, and systems. In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to represent Apple and its relevant financials to external parties, including government regulators. This is a uniquely collaborative team that works directly with various functional groups within Apple including Legal, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, among others.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Litigation, Antitrust & Disputes Finance team to ensure relevant financials and related data subject to requests and production outside of Apple are accurate, complete, and align to the information requested.
- Act as a representative of Apple for such data requests and production which includes signing declarations, authoring affidavits, and testifying in depositions as well as speaking to regulatory authorities, as the need arises.
- Develop subject matter expertise regarding Apple's core products & services including associated financials and related data metrics by gaining proficient knowledge of Apple's financial and reporting systems and working collaboratively with Apple's Legal, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, and other organizations.

Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance-related experience with deep familiarity with accounting concepts and financial reporting
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring direct reports and managing high value and/or risk projects with a keen eye to accuracy, attention to detail, and process efficiency.
- Experience complex financial data/concepts and comfortable explaining such information in straightforward and simple terms to different audiences and settings including Apple leadership/management, regulatory authorities, and deposition testimony.
- BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting projects involving litigations and/or depositions, audit procedures or compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property valuations, corporate financial planning and analysis, and/or financial projects involving cross-collaboration with legal teams.
- Knowledge of the deposition process, exposure to reviewing depositions, and/or familiarity of engaging with regulatory authorities.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, maintain composure under tight deadlines while being able to prioritize, and balance workload fluctuations.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across different levels of management / leadership.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing Excel with extraordinary attention to detail and organization.
- MBA, CPA or a similar certification preferred.
- Familiarity with common enterprise finance systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,500 and $274,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
