Our Video & Sports Operations team is responsible for bringing content partners into our video services, serving as the primary technical point of contact for content partners on a day-to-day basis. We ensure our partners' content reaches customers on time and at the highest possible quality. We work with the most important movie studios, television networks, subscription video services, Multichannel Video Programming Distributors, and sports leagues in the world to create a great experience for the users of the Apple TV app.

Description

This role advances the iPhone as a professional camera tool across Apple Services-including Apple TV, Sports, Music, and Fitness+. You'll build scalable production workflows, collaborate across teams, and engage with the film, broadcast, and creative industries to establish iPhone as a leading professional content creation tool.

You'll develop technical workflows that integrate Apple technologies into live broadcasts, working with internal and external partners to produce high-quality broadcast experiences that highlight the best of Apple hardware and software.

Designing and documenting scalable technical pipelines for video and audio capture, encoding, transmission, and post-production using Apple devices and services

Exploring and implementing workflows that leverage iPhone's unique advantages-such as cellular and wireless capabilities-to differentiate it from traditional camera systems

Collaborating with internal production and content teams, external partners, and Apple's hardware and software engineering teams to align technical solutions with creative, business, and product innovation goals

Building and testing proof-of-concept setups on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, iterating quickly based on feedback and real-world broadcast constraints

Cultivating partnerships with hardware manufacturers and software developers to expand iPhone's professional production capabilities

Driving targeted engagement across the broadcast, film, television, and streaming industries to establish best practices and deliver high-profile real-world use cases

Partnering with cross-functional internal teams to craft compelling stories that highlight iPhone's professional video advantages

Representing Apple Services at major industry events-including HPA, NAB, Cine Gear, and IBC-to track emerging trends and strengthen key relationships

Preferred Qualifications

BS / BA preferred

A proven track record in working on complex, large-scale, and time-critical projects

Strong understanding of, and empathy with, the Apple brand and products

You have a proven ability to manage workflow around multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Passionate about digital technology and possess a "get it done" attitude

Minimum Qualifications

Has 10+ years in video production with deep technical expertise in video and audio capture, including experience leveraging iPhone as professional production tools

Has experience with live broadcast and a strong understanding of the technical workflows that enable it, with familiarity in mobile-first or hybrid production setups

Can combine technical acumen with creativity to develop new workflows for the broadcast industry, including those that integrate Apple hardware and software

5 years+ experience making decisions confidently in fast-paced video production environment

Can clearly document operational procedures and identify new processes to reduce manual error

Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex partner and vendor integrations

Is quality-focused with high attention to detail

Exhibits curiosity and perseverance, with the conviction to solve seemingly impossible problems

Thrives working both independently and collaboratively

Brings high energy, passion, and dedication to their work

Is comfortable navigating ambiguity and fast-moving environments

Ability to be onsite; this role is an in-person, onsite position

Up to 15% travel required, both domestic and international

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $193,000 and $290,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
