The ACES Engineering team is looking for a talented Native Apps Developer to help build and evolve the Apple Visit suite of applications. Apple Visit is a global visitor management platform - the very first system that anyone interacts with when visiting any Apple location worldwide. It is used by employees and guests alike to manage visits, events, and meetings across every Apple office, campus, and facility around the globe. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality iOS and macOS applications that are central to how Apple welcomes and connects people at its locations every single day.

Description

As a member of the ACES Engineering team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining the Apple Visit suite of apps - the global visitor management platform that serves as the front door to every Apple location. Your work will directly impact how Apple welcomes employees, guests, and partners across offices, campuses, and facilities worldwide.","responsibilities":"Design, build, and ship native iOS and macOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI that are reliable, performant, and delightful to use

Build features that power visit scheduling, check-in, event coordination, and meeting management at scale across all Apple locations globally

Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into elegant, scalable solutions

Architect features with a focus on maintainability, testability, and performance across iPhone, iPad, and Mac

Contribute to shared frameworks and libraries used across the various native applications

Write clean, well-tested code and participate in thorough code reviews to uphold a high quality bar

Optimize app performance using Instruments, MetricKit, and other profiling tools

Ensure applications meet Apple's standards for accessibility, privacy, and security - critical for a system handling visitor and employee data globally

Stay current with the latest Apple platform technologies (e.g., new SwiftUI APIs, WidgetKit, concurrency) and advocate for their adoption where appropriate
