GUI Software Lead

Description
The GUI Software Lead owns the technical direction and delivery of graphical interfaces for Apple's internal RF test instruments. You will build and lead the GUI software discipline, partner closely with hardware, embedded and software teams, and drive feature development end-to-end to deliver reliable, high-performance applications.
Responsibilities:
Build, establish, and manage the GUI software engineering team and own the technical roadmap for GUI applications across internal RF test instruments.
Drive end-to-end feature development - from requirements and design review through implementation, testing, and release - ensuring quality and schedule predictability.
Collaborate with hardware, platform, and UX teams to deliver high-performance, reliable interfaces that reflect the complexity of underlying instrument systems.
Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team.
Communicate project status, risks, and technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders and leadership
International and/or domestic travel is possible.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading software teams on products that integrate software and hardware.
Strong grounding in Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and scalable software design principles.
Working knowledge of UI/UX design practices.
Familiarity with RF measurements and RF lab equipment.
Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of industry software engineering experience or equivalent.
Proven experience leading software development teams.
Deep experience with at least one major Apple UI framework: SwiftUI, UIKit, or AppKit.
Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
