FPGA Engineer
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming extraordinary products that delight millions. The silicon engineering team is at the heart of this innovation, and we are looking for a passionate FPGA Engineer to help us shape the next generation of the world's most advanced devices.
As a key member of our team, you will leverage advanced FPGA platforms to solve critical challenges across the entire product development lifecycle. Your work will span the full spectrum: from rapidly prototyping new architectural concepts and building FPGA platforms for pre-silicon validation, to enabling silicon bring-up and system integration after tape-out. You will provide the essential platform that empowers our design, validation and software teams to innovate faster and deliver a flawless user experience. If you are a hands-on problem solver who thrives at the intersection of hardware and software, we invite you to join us.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of our FPGA platforms, from architecture and hardware selection to implementation and bring-up. In this capacity, you will work with cross-functional teams to prototype new features and perform critical pre-silicon validation. After tape-out, you will play a key role in driving system bring-up and debug, helping ensure a smooth path to production.","responsibilities":"Architect and maintain a common design platform for both ASIC and FPGA, with considerations for memories, I/O, and advanced clocking schemes.
