We are looking for a Places Finance Solutions manager with deep functional expertise who can support new system initiatives and programs within Places and the greater Finance organization. This role focuses on project management, business alignment, enhancing finance processes, and strengthening controls through automation, systems and AI tools.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing large technical projects that interweave multiple functional teams and/or multiple systems. You must be self-motivated, comfortable working with minimal direction in a global, fast-paced, often ambiguous environment.

Description
As a Places Finance Solutions manager, you will play a pivotal role in the program management of new systems, working cross-functionally with key partners in Finance, Places, IS&T, Procurement, and business teams to drive optimization through process, data and technology solutions.

The candidate would have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Collaboration is critical. ","responsibilities":"Lead a team of Finance project SMEs to achieve goals and meet expectations for a variety of Places Finance initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and document key processes and non-negotiable items to design the most optimal tools with the appropriate compliance controls.
Demonstrated ability to bridge stakeholders and technical teams, translating business asks into clear requirements and feature specifications.
Support in UAT scripts creation and process mapping efforts. Assist in testing to ensure all asks are accounted for and no gaps once moved to production.
Present regular updates on overall status of projects and initiatives to leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
PMI/PMP or other project certifications (i.e. Agile, Six Sigma).
Direct experience and knowledge of AI tools

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of professional finance or accounting experience
2+ years of managerial experience
BS/BA or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required (MBA and/or CPA is a plus).
Natural leader and motivator with the ability to lead, influence without authority, and the technical acumen to effectively strategize on solutions.
Exceptional keynote and presentation skills.
Excels at synthesizing information and adapting messaging to various audiences across functions and levels.
A keen attention to detail to proactively identify and address risks, gaps, or communication breakdowns.
Success requires an individual to think strategically and drive the bigger picture, while simultaneously being in the details of all key deliverables.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
