Executive Administrative Assistant

Today Cupertino, CA

Product Design is a mechanical engineering organization where design and engineering meet - turning ambitious product requirements into the beautiful, high-quality hardware Apple is known for, delivered at massive scale without compromising on features, performance, or reliability. Our team's design rigor and attention to detail doesn't stop at engineering work - it shows up in how we run our team, our spaces, and our events. We are seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant who shares that same standard of care and brings it to their own work: someone who finds real satisfaction in getting the details right, elevating the everyday experience of the team, and supporting leaders who think the same way.

Priorities here can shift overnight, and that's part of what makes the role energizing - you'll find momentum and variety motivating, not exhausting. This Executive Administrative Assistant will support Director and/or Senior Director-level leaders within this organization. This role extends beyond individual executive support - you'll also provide administrative support to the broader teams these leaders manage. This is a tenacious self-starter who actively seeks out fast-paced environments, anticipates needs, takes initiative, and solves problems independently across a multi-site organization.

Description

Executive & Team Support

-Complex calendar management, travel scheduling, expense report processing, and budget tracking/management for the supported executive(s)

-Extend administrative support to the broader team(s) reporting to these leaders - not limited to 1:1 executive support

-Anticipate needs and changes proactively, then act in the best interest of the business

Design Rigor, Quality & Team Experience

-Bring the same design rigor and precision our team applies to engineering work into the day-to-day experience of the team - spaces, events, communications, and details that are easy to overlook but matter

-Apply strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality in planning and executing events, managing spaces, and producing team materials

-Continuously look for ways to elevate the quality and polish of team operations, not just complete them

Confidentiality & Discretion

-Regular access to confidential and unreleased Apple products, materials, and information as part of daily work

-Handle all such information - including pre-announcement product details, internal strategy, and personnel matters - with strict discretion and sound judgment at all times

Cross-Site & Event Support

-Primarily based at one site, with occasional travel to other Apple locations as needed to support teams, events, and administrative matters
