Apple is looking for an Events Project Manager to join the Product Launch and Marketing Operations team within Worldwide Marketing to help deliver successful product launches and momentum activities.
The Product Launch and Marketing Operations team owns the end-to-end launch process. We provide consistency across launches and guide the process from kickoff to availability and beyond. The team is comprised of Product Launch Management, Hardware Program Office, Events Management, Customer Database Marketing, and Presentation Design. As the Events Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of events ensuring they meet the strategic objectives of WW Marketing and Apple and deliver unforgettable guest experiences. Your responsibilities will include detailed project plans, timeline management, staffing, logistics, and continuous process improvement.
In this highly cross-functional role, you will collaborate with teams across Apple including WW Product Marketing, WW Events, PR, Product Launch Management, Hardware Readiness, Education and Business Markets, Developer Relations, Marketing Communications, Engineering, Product Security, and Tech Product Marketing.
","responsibilities":"Collaborate with Product Marketing to create comprehensive briefs that help cross-functional teams (including WW Events and PR) understand key product messaging, features, and demo requirements
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and layouts that serve as the source of truth for all WW Marketing teams
Facilitate weekly meetings with key stakeholders to keep teams informed, aligned, and on track
Partner with Product Marketing, Hardware Program Office, and Tech Product Marketing to procure and track all products, accessories, and display materials for hands-on areas, press briefings, and product showcases
Manage staffer recruitment, training, logistics, and overall well being during events
Coordinate with Security to maintain new product secrecy and ensure the secure transport and storage of product at event venues worldwide
Oversee rehearsals, set-up, and breakdown of event spaces
Document history of events through photos, videos, and archived project plans
Provide updates on critical checkpoints and elevating risks to business partners and executive team
Align with partners and senior leadership on event changes, providing thoughtful risk evaluations, critical checkpoint updates, and strategic recommendations
Conduct post-event analysis including staffer surveys and event-over-event insights
Drive continuous improvement in event processes, utilizing AI and other tools to implement best practices and streamline reporting
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot and proactively address gaps or breakdowns in communications
Calm under pressure, acting as a natural problem solver who can pivot seamlessly when circumstances change
Ability to move fluidly between high-level strategy and execution-level detail
Strong delegation skills while maintaining strict oversight of the final outcome
Experience using AI to improve operational processes and reporting
Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in event management or event project management
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and locations simultaneously
Strong communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Excellent forward-thinking capabilities, with a track record of proactively identifying risks and opportunities
Proficient using Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Box, and project-based applications
Ability to travel globally to support events
Flexibility to support off-business-hours work during critical launch windows or when urgent issues arise","internalDetails":null

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,400 and $176,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
