The IS&T Retail Engineering organization powers the Apple Online Store (AOS), one of the world's largest and most innovative e-commerce platforms. We are seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, technically challenging projects that directly impact millions of customers globally. We're seeking a passionate engineering project management expert to own the entire lifecycle of highly complex, large- scale projects and feature areas. You'll be in the driver's seat, from business requirements analysis and technical design discussions to testing and partner collaboration. This isn't about checking tasks off a list - it's about your ability to lead, drive and deliver on every aspect of the project.","responsibilities":"Drive projects from inception to launch, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery within budget and scope.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, product owners, and strategic partners, proactively resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment on project goals..

Deeply understand software engineering workflows and systems architecture. You will navigate complex technical trade-offs, challenge architectural assumptions, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and impactful. This includes participating in technical design reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience as an Engineering Project/Program Manager (EPM), Technical Project Manager (TPM), or similar role, managing complex software development projects
Experience driving highly complex projects using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies, with a strong understanding of eCommerce, distributed systems, microservices, and/or cloud technologies.
Proven ability to work with diverse audiences through clear, compelling written and verbal communication.
Demonstrated history of thriving in fast paced dev environments with constant change.
Successful track record of managing budgets and forecasting resource needs.
Highly effective team player who can bring engineers, product managers, and designers together to deliver results.
Industry recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master certification.
Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate the business and technical implications of architectural decisions, technology choices, and trade-offs made by the project team. Able to contribute to technical discussions and provide informed perspectives.
Strong facilitation and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead project teams to meet all project deadlines with minimal supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience as an Engineering Project/Program Manager (EPM), Technical Project Manager (TPM), or similar role, managing complex software development projects
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; or a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
