Apple's Customer Systems Platform Services team is looking for an extraordinary Engineering Project Manager with deep understanding and genuine passion for running programs, building complex cross-functional products and components in Apple's fast paced environment using top of the line cutting edge technologies. You will manage technology initiatives across applications and products to support worldwide AppleCare sales and service businesses.

Description

Employ innovative techniques, working collaboratively with other team members and business stakeholders during the full lifecycle development process - including requirements analysis, design, development, deployment, testing and maintenance. Become the Product Champion and manage product evolution and define and own multi-year product roadmap.

Develop and execute project plans by leading scope, schedule, deliverables, and resource allocation.

Proactively identify, communicate project issues and risks, and recommend solutions and mitigations.

Actively and expertly collaborate with business and engineering teams on requirements, innovative solutions, scope, and project deliverables.

Prioritize issues while negotiating and setting appropriate expectations with team members, stakeholders and senior management.

Prioritize team activities and drive resolution of issues across all areas of the projects.

Gain insight into business direction and think through its impact on product and drive changes.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Demonstrated success in leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast paced environment.

Experience working in a cross-functional time-zone distributed team environment.

Proficient in conveying complex information clearly and effectively to various collaborators.

Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.

Self-motivated and pro-active, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.

Engineering/Technical background preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years combined experience in engineering project and product management.

Solid understanding of software development methodologies (including Agile and traditional waterfall).

Proficient at managing multiple global efforts simultaneously.

Background in software/product development, either as a software engineer or having been exposed to the software development life cycle.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $141,800 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
