In this role, you will be the connective tissue between engineering, product, finance, and operations teams - keeping roadmaps on track, anticipating risks before they materialize, and ensuring that our tooling capabilities stay ahead of the organization's needs. You will be a trusted partner to engineering leads and a clear, credible voice with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end program delivery for a portfolio of engineering features across our capacity management tooling ecosystem, from kickoff through launch

Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, data, finance, and operations teams to maintain velocity and resolve dependencies

Develop and maintain detailed program plans, milestones, and risk registers; anticipate blockers and drive resolution before they impact delivery

Partner with engineering leads to define scope, sequence work effectively, and hold teams accountable to commitments

Advocate for automation and tooling investments that reduce manual processes and improve the accuracy and efficiency of capacity planning workflows

Synthesize program status, risks, and decisions into clear, concise communications for stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership

Establish and continuously improve program management practices and execution standards within the team

Experience managing tooling or platform engineering programs in a cloud infrastructure or capacity planning environment

Working knowledge of capacity planning concepts, infrastructure forecasting, or cloud financial operations

Familiarity with data engineering workflows and an ability to partner effectively with data and analytics teams

Knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies, frameworks, and methodologies

Experience driving automation initiatives that replace manual processes with scalable, reliable tooling

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years of experience in engineering program management, preferably in a large-scale, data-driven technology organization

Demonstrated track record of delivering complex software projects on time and with quality in a fast-paced environment

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to drive alignment across engineering, product, finance, and operations stakeholders

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and operational concepts to stakeholders at all levels

Proven ability to see around corners - identifying risks, dependencies, and organizational blockers early and driving resolution proactively

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a relevant field required; MS, MBA, or other advanced degree a plus

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $207,400 and $311,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
