The Cloud Capacity and Operations team is seeking a dynamic Program Manager with solid financial analysis skills to join our organization and make a significant impact accelerating Apple's overall capacity strategy.
Description
In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of strategic initiatives focused on cost optimizations and compute efficiency. You will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders and engineering partners to ensure that our roadmap decisions are maximizing every aspect of our budget spend. Additionally, you will develop and establish a robust set of business processes to measure the organization's impact and drive data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement cost optimization strategies across the organization
Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to identify areas for improvements
Establish data-driven, cost-efficient Capacity Planning as a core capability throughout the organization
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proven track record of driving efficiency and cost savings in a fast-paced environment
Working understanding of the infrastructure and capacity landscape across the industry
Understanding of and experience with implementing cost optimization strategies
Knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies, frameworks, and methodologies
MS, OR, IE, MBA or other relevant advanced degree a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in engineering program management and/or financial analysis preferably in a large-scale, data-driven technology organization
Strong analytical skills and expertise in cost optimization, financial modeling and forecasting
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business/finance, or relevant field required or relevant industry experience required
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $203,300 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
