In AppleCare we believe in providing world class support to our customers for the devices that they have purchased. We are looking for a highly motivated and self driven individual who will be responsible for driving multi-functional diagnostic projects.

Description

This individual will have to drive the overall schedule of diagnostic projects from conceptualization to design to execution to deployment. Responsible for recognizing and presenting multi-functional issues and risks. You will work with engineering teams to develop requirements, drive implementation schedules, coordinate and drive fixes for software and systems related issues as well as present potential issues and their impact to new product release readiness and other key AppleCare initiatives.

","responsibilities":"Partnering with AppleCare Readiness teams and Diagnostic architects to understand and lead systems and software changes impacting iOS / MacOS, cloud-based server infrastructure, Core OS, and Hardware Development.

Design project implementation plans for diagnostic feature developments and complete those plans with multi-functional engineering teams.

Lead design reviews and approve design milestones and success criteria for each milestone

Coordinate program reviews and status updates on top engineering issues to all levels of management including senior executives.

Lead validation of diagnostic SW features and AppleCare diagnostic systems for field releases and new product launches

Ensure close inter-team coordination and end to end collaboration on work you're doing

Overall responsibility to ensure all engineering and technical aspects of AppleCare diagnostic programs are delivered on a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

Negotiation and risk leadership skills

Experience handling projects with low-level hardware integration dependencies highly desired

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years of experience in related occupation

Software Project management skills

Experience in leading large multi-functional teams

Experience in coordinating programs end to end from design to release

Understanding of operating systems (iOS, MacOS, iPadOS, watchOS)

Detailed knowledge and understanding of product development processes
