Description
Your mission as a Carrier Engineering and Account Manager will be to ensure that Apple's connectivity feature roadmap aligns seamlessly with global ecosystem trajectories. You will leverage your technical and interpersonal expertise to drive feature requirements from both external and internal partners across multiple hardware and software programs. Additionally, you will champion the product roadmap on an outbound basis with external partners, particularly US carriers, while serving as the primary, accountable resource for Apple leadership on all carrier network-related matters. Simultaneously, you will act as the voice of the carrier internally, translating partner requirements into actionable insights for internal engineering and product forums to ensure our solutions exceed market expectations.","responsibilities":"Responsible for the technical acceptance (TA) of cellular products with US carriers.

Establish and align the carrier roadmap with Apple cross-functional stakeholders.
Lead Apple projects and initiatives with timely deep integration and enablement from carriers.
Manage executive briefings and facilitate timely executive team sync with carriers.
Please provide technical insights relevant to carriers to Apple cross-functional teams.
Collaboratively contribute to the formulation of Apple's project and product strategy, taking into account the influence of US carriers and leadership guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
The ability to maintain focus and prioritize a substantial workload while consistently delivering exceptional quality.
Possess excellent judgment and integrity, enabling timely and sound decision-making.
Verbal and written communication skills, particularly presentation skills tailored for a role that relies on information as its primary currency.
Ability to travel domestically.
Minimum Qualifications
20+ years of direct experience working with or for US carriers to enable cellular devices, services, and connectivity technologies.
8+ years of experience in managing high-impact team members.
Proficiency in 3GPP cellular radio technologies, particularly control plane protocols, RF, and MAC. Experience with 4G LTE and 5G NR is highly desirable.
Knowledge of satellite D2C technologies, Wi-Fi, and BT technologies is advantageous.
Well-versed in cellular product certification and compliance, encompassing multiple regulatory bodies and industry associations.
Demonstrated expertise in both project and product life-cycle management within a technology-driven environment.
