Engineering Manager, iCloud Backup

You will lead a fast-paced and high-growth team, where you will have direct impact on the iCloud products used by a billion Apple customers. You will help build on the team's culture, and participate in defining the technology and engineering practices. You will not only be in charge of customer-facing apps, but have a chance to contribute to iOS,iPadOS, and VisionOS. Description
Our team is in charge of iCloud Backup, which means millions of Apple customers trust us with the safety of their personal data. This brings great visibility to our work. We know our product is great, but we also believe we can make it even better. We need your leadership skills as well as your product ideas to define and build the next generation of features that your friends and family are going to use.
You will get to collaborate with many teams across Apple, therefore good communication and relationship-building skills are crucial to your success. Having an inquisitive mind and asking questions will help you not only achieve immediate results, but also inspire new ideas for your next killer feature.

Preferred Qualifications
Ability to attract, hire and retain engineering talent
Prior experience in shipping AI/ML products is a plus
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical management role, overseeing strategic projects and driving cross-functional collaboration
Experience with building and maintaining high-scale, high-availability services and products
Product-minded, data-driven leader who always starts with the question "why?"
Strong communication skills, especially with non-engineering partners
Proven track record of building and executing multi-year product and technology roadmaps
Ability to attract, hire and retain engineering talent
Prior experience in shipping AI/ML products is a plus
