This is an opportunity to join the Engineering Finance team as an experienced finance manager! We prepare, track and evaluate performance metrics, business analyses and financial analyses in addition to forecasting, reporting, and providing best-in-class business support to the Apple Engineering organization. This is a leadership role that would provide a unique opportunity to participate in the decisions leading to Apple's game changing products.

Description

You will operate in the capacity of the Finance Controller responsible for key organizations within Apple's Hardware Technology team. You will have the ownership of the finance relationship with the key business leaders that cover main product feature development. You will lead the development of engineering budget plan with the program management team from product concept to engineering project execution, identify cost saving opportunities throughout the product development cycle, drive the post-mortem analysis of what worked and communicate the learning for future plans. You will manage and control finance processes with senior engineering leaders to make sure engineering team members comply with Apple Finance policy and Engineering management guidelines. You will operate independently, present your ideas, plans and results to senior Apple management and leaders, and be able to handle senior relationships not only with business partners but also with the finance leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting, Finance, Economics, Operations Planning

7+ years of relevant experience with Big 4 or direct technology experiences preferred","internalDetails":null

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
