Description
As a Drop EPS, you would have the incredible responsibility of ensuring material takes the first step in becoming hardware during the development lifecycle. You will be in charge of managing allocations, material deliveries, resolving and correcting issues with numerous contract manufacturers (CM's), and being the single point of contact for all shipping/receiving issues with Apple's various distribution teams. You will own and manage iPhone PD's local library at two onsite locations. Through this you will touch many different devices and materials. You will be in constant contact with key project stakeholders, sharing data about the status of local builds, material and devices. Work closely with Trade Compliance/Apple Customs teams to clear shipments pending any clearance issues
Align closely with the CM/PD EPM to manage inventory and flow of incoming materials
Daily counts of "Class A" material/completed devices maintaining 100% accuracy
Storage of all remaining material and finished devices at build end in PD EPS Material Library with 100% accuracy
Partner with PD DRI's and EPM team to securely scrap material and devices at appropriate time
Drive feedback and report issues that arise from multiple international CMs/Vendors.
Provide constant feedback and support to international CMs/Suppliers and local logistics team on any data, labeling, or packaging issues.
Run allocation and distribution reports as needed for specific products/builds and distribute to EPM and other key team members.
Maintain competitor device library, order new devices as requested by PD and distribute to interns and PD leaders as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Education: BA/BS degree or industry experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large multi-functional team
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of material/inventory management or related experience
Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive and fast pace environment
Off-hour support required via email, phone or WebEx as needed
Proven track record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and proficient working with large data sets in Excel

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101,192 and $197,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
