DevOps Engineer, Retail Engineering

Description

This role demands extensive hands on experience of working as a DevOps Engineer for a big, business critical application. As a DevOp Engineer, you will be a core team member driving infrastructure related transformation of our application. You will influence the design, scale, and management of cloud infrastructure and application stacks. Preferred Qualifications

Experience applying networking concepts in DevOps domain

Experience in GitOps such as ArgoCD

Experience cross-functional initiatives, and to architect, design, and deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions in collaboration with multiple teams

Hands-on experience with service mesh technologies (particularly Istio), Kubernetes Event-driven Autoscaling (KEDA) and tools like Karpenter for dynamic and efficient workload scaling

Proficient in using Git for version control, including experience with branching strategies and collaborative workflows

Minimum Qualifications

5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering

Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS

Hands on expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes

Hands on experience with Linux systems and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar for automation
