Description
The Content Strategy & Planning team at Apple TV is responsible for managing the greenlight process, content valuation, slate management, deal analysis, and film ultimates. As this is a start-up initiative within Apple, the right person for this role will be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while juggling multiple priorities.
Reporting to the Head of Content Strategy & Planning, as the Content Strategy & Planning Lead you will be a thought leader responsible for our most complex and ambiguous challenges. You will own complex analyses and manage key deliverables that informs our content strategy from content valuation to the greenlight process.","responsibilities":"Complex modeling to perform content valuation leveraging performance metrics, competitive data, and forecasts
Develop and report on key KPIs that measure content value and efficiency as it relates to content performance, subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement to provide insights and recommendations based on performance trends and forecasts
Distribute regular emails to report performance on valuation to key stakeholders
Slate valuation with deep understanding of underlying metrics driving value
Prepare clear, data-driven presentations and recommendations to senior management
Identify process improvements to increase the team's efficiency and impact
Assist in ad hoc requests and projects
Preferred Qualifications
Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills with a proven ability to build complex, dynamic models from scratch
A proactive and curious mindset with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly
Ability to lead and thrive in a fast-paced, "start-up" environment
A highly strategic thinker who is detail-oriented, while able to shape the big picture and influence long-term strategy
Operates with a high degree of autonomy to deconstruct ambiguous problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and produce polished, strategic recommendations
Exercises sound judgment to navigate ambiguity, assess risks, and make critical decisions with incomplete information, ensuring project momentum and success

Proven ability to take initiative, lead complex projects, and solve ambiguous problems
Excellent project management and prioritization skills to complete tasks within deadlines autonomously
Operates with a high degree of autonomy to deconstruct ambiguous problems, conduct rigorous analysis, and produce polished, strategic recommendations
Exercises sound judgment to navigate ambiguity, assess risks, and make critical decisions with incomplete information, ensuring project momentum and success
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships
Exceptional oral/presentation and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management, including executives
Extensive experience with Tableau, Excel, and Keynote
MBA preferred
Entertainment experience highly preferred
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years finance, consulting, or strategy experience required
Bachelors Degree in Business, Economics, Finance (or equivalent)

Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $124,100 and $186,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
